Local News from the Road
Hard Core LUNA Chix Riders

Waking up with a half inch of snow on the ground and morning snow flurries, the weather was a little worrisome through out the day. Do we postpone, will anyone come? And believe it or not by 5pm it was 48 degrees and the sun was shinning, bringing out 14 local gals to Northstar at Tahoe to ride and clinic with LUNA Pro (Olympic bound) Katerina Nash.

After a warm up ride with some switch back work, we split into two groups and kept our legs moving to stay warm. Working on bike and body position, leaning, balance and obstacles, both groups had the opportunity to ride and learn from Katerina. At the end of the evening, the gals all walked (or rode) away with confident smiles. We want to give a BIG thanks to Katerina Nash, Northstar at Tahoe and all of our participants. The clinic raised over $200 dollars for the Breast Cancer Fund.

If you missed this opportunity to build your skills, keep an eye on our events calendar for upcoming clinics throughout the season!
