Rain, Wind, Hail and a podium finish in Boise
Peggy, Cori, Victoria and I competed in the 1/2 Ironman Boise 70.3 this last weekend. It was definitely a challenging race. The wind picked up during the swim, and then came the rain/hail/wind on the bike and run. It was a great experience, and I think it was actually fun. I think we are all crazy!!! It was great to see the pro athletes that competed, including Ironman world champion Craig Alexander. I think we were all pleased with our performance, and had a great time competeing together!!! Thanks girls for taking the journey with me on my first 1/2 iron your the best!!!! |
