The LUNA Pro Team showed once again why it is the #1 women's mountain bike team in the world, dominating the World Cup in Val di Sole, Italy with Georgia Gould finishing in 7th, Katerina Nash on the podium again in 5th, and Catharine Pendrel regaining the World Cup leader's jersey after a fantastic sprint finish for 2nd.

All of the road racing Katerina Nash has been doing the past two months is paying big dividends, evident by her 5th place finish in the 4th round of the UCI World Cup in Champery, Switzerland. Her teammates didn't fare as well, struggling with mechanicals and an extremely muddy course that kept them from preriding many of the technical sections the day before. Georgia finished in 11th and Catharine in 16th. Katerina is now in 11th overall, Georgia in 6th, and Catharine in 3rd with two races left. The team is now off to sunnier skies, olive oil, and lots of garlic with next weekend's race in Italy.

Shonny Vanlandingham dominated the XTERRA Mountain Championship off-road triathlon on a beautiful, blue sky day at Beaver Creek Resort in Avon, Colorado this past weekend. That makes the third XTERRA win of the season for the 41 year old mountain biker-turned off-road triathlete.
