LUNA CHIX PRO TEAM

2010 marks the 21st Annual Full Vineman Triathlon, making it the oldest independant Ironman distance triathlon held in the continental United States.  Last year Tyler Stewart ruled here.

The World Cup hasn’t had a cross country event at this venue in quite some time.  Being an unknown course, it is anyone’s guess who will be on the podium.  Races in ski towns typically have a lot of hard climbing and Val di Sole will challenge riders with physically demanding climbs and tricky descents.

Kenda Fest is a three day mountain bike festival in the backwoods of Massachusetts.  The LUNA Team will run skills clinics and help lead rides on the many trails built for the event. 

This six day mountain bike stage race was won in 2009 by Alison Dunlap and her husband in the coed team division.  With a later date on the calendar, look for a more competitive field to contest this brutal race of over 250 miles all above 10,000ft. 

With the World Championships a week later, all of the top riders will contest this last event in the World Cup series.  The Windham course is loaded with hard climbs and technical descents.  Look for the LUNA women to shine with the homefield advantage.
