LUNA CHIX PRO TEAM

The big Pro Team competition was on.  No, it wasn’t a world championship.  And not even a national.  But yes, this was THE BIG LUNA Sport PHOTO SHOOT held recently in several undisclosed locations in California. 

The LUNA Chix competitors:  Katerina Nash, Shonny Vanlandingham, Tyler Stewart, Georgia Gould, and pro “Has-Been”, Marla Streb

The Stated Goal:  To make the clothes look good

The Actual Goal:  To look the Most Buff (or in Marla’s case, to look slightly younger than her 44 years of hard living reveal)

The Award:  Best Poseur gets Cover of LUNA Sport Gear 2010 Catalog

The Low-Down:  Katerina and Tyler were first in the frame, and both enjoyed the advantage of the in house professional make-up artist.  Katerina took the lead with her creative yawning outtakes (prominently displayed on the LUNA Sport Facebook home page), but then Tyler came back and boldly volunteered for the underwear shot (which made the catalog BTW). 

The Dirty Games:  A fierce battle ensued between 40-somethings Shonny Vanlandingham and Marla Streb, culminating in Marla squirting water at Shonny and ruining the whole roll of white paper background.  Shonny eventually beat Marla in the well-documented arm-wrestling match, and Marla has now refused to reimburse Shonny for her travel expenses.

The Darkroom Whispers:  With tremendous pressure to win the unofficial “Butt Model” award, Tyler Stewart called foul when Marla Streb took that victory not with her butt, but with her Butt Kissing

The Finals: Come-from-behind Georgia had lots of ground to make up without the make-up, but her supposed “photogenic” qualities shone through and she qualified for the second round in another warmer, but still undisclosed location.  Tyler also qualified for second round, but was disqualified for Frequent Poses on the Aero-Bars.
