Pro News from the Road
This past weekend I completed my first full Xterra race of the season at Xterra Alberta in Canmore. With two hour long duathlons under my belt since Nico was born in May I was excited to test out my fitness by going the full distance! Coming into Maui this year I must admit I wasn’t quite feeling the same form as a year ago and had been having some on and off workouts, however the week leading into the race I was feeling pretty good and hoping the legs would be there come race day. After a year of ups and downs, I returned to Ironman Hawaii happy and healthy. The conditions were brutal as usual but I finished 10th in the world…not bad! |
