Pro News from the Road
If you haven’t yet heard through facebook, e-mail, or good ole fashioned word of mouth, I’m expecting baby # 2 at the end of May! And it is starting to feel quite real now at just about the 4 month mark as my belly is starting to resemble all those Santa bellies out there like the one my daughter Zoe had her picture taken with this morning at the mall! That is aside from the other general discomforts of pregnancy up until this point such as feeling sick, tired, and overly emotional with every cheesy Christmas commercial or movie I’ve seen on TV lately! It was the 5th annual Women’s Mountain bike clinic in Waco, TX, last weekend. For the 5th year close to 100 women converged on Cameron Park in Waco for some bike skill instruction, catered meals, prizes and lots of fun! Coming into Maui this year I must admit I wasn’t quite feeling the same form as a year ago and had been having some on and off workouts, however the week leading into the race I was feeling pretty good and hoping the legs would be there come race day. After a long and spectacular season I want to thank Waldek, Chris and Zeph as well as all our families for your hard work and understanding of a hectic travel schedule! |
