Race Report
Sweeping New England’s “Holy Week of ‘Cross”, Katerina Nash scored a perfect 3 for 3 (including Wednesday’s Night Weasel Cometh), after she won both days of the UCI sanctioned KMC Cyclo-cross Festival. Katerina remains unbeaten for the 2015 fall cyclocross season and is the current UCI World Cup leader. Competing against many seasoned cyclocross specialists, Maghalie Rochette hung strongly for tenth place both days at KMC.

Katerina Nash is literally on a cross roll, taking her third straight victory in a month by winning Night Weasel Cometh in Shrewsbury, MA. Maghalie Rochette is also finding her form, taking second right behind her teammate.

Preferring scrambled to over easy, the LUNA Pros transformed into LUNA Pirates for Clif Bar’s inaugural Cykel Sramble.  In the actual bike race, the Chix “rode strong as pirates, but eventually they “walked the plank”, getting taken down by none other than Kirt Voreis and “No Way” Hans Rey (dressed as prison inmates).

Katerina Nash followed up her big UCI World Cup cyclocross victory at Cross Vegas, by winning the first-ever CrossReno event. Georgia Gould finished strongly in second, and Maghalie Rochette joined the podium in third place. Read more »
