The LUNA Chix Pro Team is really three different teams rolled into one – pro mountain bike, pro triathlon and pro XTERRA – and is the only all-women’s team in the world featuring internationally recognized mountain bikers, and Triathlon racers, and XTERRA athletes competing in the same uniforms for the same sponsors, across their respective disciplines. Four pro mountain bikers, three elite Triathletes, and two XTERRA pros make up the LUNA squad.
The team also holds the unique distinction of being the only pro team actively working to raise awareness and funds to support the Breast Cancer Fund. They prominently display the Breast Cancer Fund logo on team uniforms, support vehicles and collateral. Throughout the year they hold auctions and fundraisers for the cause.
