I love Portland, OR for the great outdoors! I am a mountain-biker, hiking adventurer and hot yogi. I enjoy studio hopping to try new workouts, and being outside.

Originally from Reno, this mother of two met her husband at Oregon State and has been an Oregonian ever since. An optometrist by day and a wife and mom by night. When outdoors she enjoys to run, ski and hike. She loves to unwind with a good book or television show and a glass of wine.
Mom to three rambunctious little girls, running is the perfect way to escape and have some "me" time. I run to stay healthy physically and mentally – it helps me be a better, happier mom and wife. It might be an Oregonian thing, but I love running in the rain and on the beach. These days I’ll run whenever and wherever I can squeeze it in. I’ve participated in 10k’s, half marathons, and I completed the Portland Marathon when my oldest daughter was nine months old. My happy place is the beach (even if I’m not running) and I really love coffee and chocolate.
Born and raised in Portland, OR and love everything about this city! I'm a Foodie, Wine-o, and an all around outdoor girl. Running, hiking, mountain biking, paddle boarding, skiing, you name it and I love it! Especially when my pup Oscar can join me. I'm a medical device rep by day and wouldn't trade it for anything.
As a Registered Dietitian and Nutritionist, Megan loves doing anything that works up an appetite. She spends her days working with kiddos at Doernbecher Children's Hospital and mornings teaching spin class at Revocyle cycling studio. Megan is also co-founder of Zest Nutrition for Women, a platform that provides nutrition coaching through individual counseling and group workshops. She loves blogging about healthy recipes and fitness trends. Ask her the key to happiness and she will tell you it's to stay playful and eat your greens!
I started running in college for a jog/run class and I have been running ever since! What started as a way to stay in shape, turned into a way of life. Running is my release and my escape. I have never been much of a competitive runner, but I do enjoy the thrill of running across the finish line knowing that you gave it your all!
I have a high turnover rate on hobbies and interests, but one thing that is always constant is running. I’m an RRCA Certified Running Coach, CrossFit Level 1 Trainer and always looking for new adventures to live and share. I recently moved back to my home state of Oregon with my husband and our dog, Moxie. I work for Lorna Jane Active and blog at RunningHutch.com.
I have been running ever since elementary school. At first I did it to be like my big brother who was an excellent long distance runner. I still remember all the nervous energy just prior to the starting gun in my cross country and track meets, often stammering in my mind "Its never too late to quit". But I never did. Running has been a part of my identity in many different ways over these last 20 years. By trade I am a family medicine physician and I enjoy encouraging others in their pursuit of health and wellness. Besides running, I like cooking (and eating!), hiking/camping, stand-up comedy and yoga. I am excited to be a part of the Portland Team Luna Chix!
I started running in junior high school, and have been hooked ever since! Trail runs are my favorite, and I’m looking forward to running my first trail marathon this year. I love long runs in Forest Park and quick runs along the waterfront in downtown Portland. Besides running, some of my favorite things include: peanut butter, skiing at Mt Hood, lip gloss, hiking and camping, cooking a good meal for my friends and family, food blogging (Tashasdish.com), used book stores, yoga, and coffee!
