Orlando Run TEAM

Do you remember your first race or running event? Just ask a few of the Orlando Run team members that question. They may be able to give you an answer which is still fresh in their minds, and probably in their legs too! Please help us congratulate Lisa Bautista, Faye Stillman, Margaret Giacalone and Belinda Newcomer for putting in the time, effort and miles to accomplish their goals.

Lisa, Faye and Margaret never ran much, or even considered themselves runners until they joined the Team LUNA Chix group runs two years ago. These three determined women, along with veteran runner, Belinda Newcomer set out to achieve the challenge of the half marathon, and the marathon. All four women have very demanding professions with busy schedules. Training for an endurance event was no easy task, but they made it appear easy. Together they coordinated their training plans and kept each other motivated in tough and easy times. We would love to give a big shout out to Faye and Lisa for completing their “First half marathon”- Disney’s Princess Half Marathon in February! And another big shout out to Belinda and Margaret for completing their “First marathon”- Shamrock Marathon, Virginia Beach in March!

These ladies are not only runners… they are athletes! Congratulations Marathoners!
