New York Mountain Bike TEAM

Team LUNA Chix New York Mountain Bike is excited to kick off our 2009 mountain biking season at the beginning of May! We have some great mountain bike rides and events scheduled for the season and hope you will join us. Check out the calendar for a full list of rides & events.

A few highlights include:

  * Sunday, May 3, 10am – 3pm: Trail Building, BBQ and mountain bike ride at Luther Forest in Malta. BBQ lunch will be provided. Please bring a donation for the Breast Cancer Fund.
  * Thursday, May 7, 6 - 8pm: Bike Maintenance Clinic at Elevate Cycles in Clifton Park. $10 donation to BCF includes a raffle ticket for a seat bag filled with some essential bike maintenance equipment.
  * Weekly mountain bike rides every Monday at 6pm, starting Monday, May 11, for all levels at various locations throughout the Capital Region.

Look for more information on June events, including a mountain biking skills clinic taught by a former LUNA Pro Team member and rides at the Saratoga Mountain Bike Association (SMBA) Mix Up the Dirt Event.  Our Team LUNA Chix ladies are dedicated to getting more women into sports and outside to play! At the same time, we raise awareness and money for the Breast Cancer Fund.  We’re looking forward to a great 2009 season and hope to see you on the trails soon!
