Running since: 1998ish? I started sometime in high school but I didn't get serious until about 2003 or 2004.
iPod or no iPod? No iPod. The headphones get on my nerves. I make an exception if I'm on a treadmill.

Post-race or run rewards: Chocolate milk! Sometimes ice cream.

Running Since - Thanksgiving 2006 (Turkey Trot!)
iPod or no iPod - Definitely an iPod when I am running alone. Playlist always changes, but a staple is The Juan MacLean's DJ-Kicks.
Favorite Race or Run - Definitely my first race, the Long Beach (in CA) Turkey Trot. It's a beautiful course along the ocean and they hand out pies at the finish!
Post-race or run rewards - Brunch & bloody marys!
When I'm not running I'm - Most likely I'm at work, but if not I'm hanging out with my dog Mushu who really is the cutest dog in the world or out and about with friends.
My secret skill is - I would hands down win an original 90210 trivia challenge

Running since: November of 2006 *but I did one season of long distance running in maybe the sixth grade...
iPod or no iPod: Depends on the day. But if the iPod is on, it's currently playing "Empire State of Mind" (but the Glee version), "Strip Me" Natasha Beddingfield, "Take a Minute" K'naan, and similar pick-me-up energy songs.

I dabbled in track and cross country in high school, and really caught the running bug in 2010, and started racing in 2011.
iPod or no iPod?
If I'm running solo, definitely with an iPod. My mixes are pretty eclectic. Justin Timberlake, Beyonce, Lady Gaga, and Bruno Mars are all regulars, but nothing makes the miles go faster than catching up with friends on a run.

iPod or no iPod? - iPod only if there's no one else to talk to. I prefer chatting. You always hear the best stories! If iPod, I listen to a bit of everything, but love Britney, Kelly, Rihanna and Katie.

iPod or no iPod: Definitely an iPod. My sport growing up was ballet, so I think that made me dependent on music to do anything active.
Favorite race: NYC marathon, hands down. The energy from the crowd is so amazing. I'm excited to do it again this year!
Post-run reward: Frozen yogurt from 16 Handles. Yum!
