Sometimes we need a change of pace to keep training interesting and new. For me, trail running running is a refreshing alternative to road running. Many of us spend our days inside concrete and steel buildings surrounded by electronics, where the only exposure to nature is the sunshine that sneaks through mostly closed blinds.
