DC Triathlon TEAM

Dogfish Head was a great location for a Tuesday night dinner!  They gave us 15% of the day’s proceeds for a grand total of $1282!  Friends came and ate dinner with us, Katie’s colleagues from the Patten Office, Forward March Machine, came and played music for us. 
Laura’s neighborhood of kids came and raffled off some great LUNA products and other schwag we were donated from great companies. 
We had a coloring contest for “What healthy living looks like at my house…” Kids won Clif’s Zbar products for their colorful creations.

We had a host of great donations of tickets to Capitals Hockey, Nationals Baseball next season, Rob Thomas, the local very scary Haunted Forest.
Other donations for the auction included some fantastic skis, a 3D bike fit from the bike shop we often ride out of, and gift certificates to other great local businesses.
We had a great time.
What tremendous team work to pull it all off!  Me with my bunionectomy the day before the event and having planned it all, the team pulled together and picked up the pieces I could not last minute. 
Thanks to all who came to help us raise money, to all who ate and tipped their servers well, to the servers who wore the BCF bumper stickers to raise awareness, and to the team for all the hard work! 
So where do we eat next?  You know me, I’m always hungry for more, more biking more food…..
