LUNA Chix Local Teams bring together women interested in learning new sports, staying active and inspiring others to do the same.

The DC Triathlon Team’s mission is to assist you in meeting your fitness goals. From the novice to the experienced racer we offer laughs, laps, rides, sweat, and friendship to keep you active from April to October. We are a diverse group of women who are enthusiastic about life, sport, and community. We also raise funds for the Breast Cancer Fund. Come learn more and join us for a workout soon!

Chix Life

Sometimes we need a change of pace to keep training interesting and new.  For me, trail running running is a refreshing alternative to road running.  Many of us spend our days inside concrete and steel buildings surrounded by electronics, where the only exposure to nature is the sunshine that sneaks through mostly closed blinds.  Running the trails takes you completely out of this man made environment and allows you to breathe in the beauty of the outdoors while getting a great workout!  In short - trail running is good for the body and good for the soul…
