This past weekend, I had a great time leaving the snow behind and hitting the trails with the San Diego Triathlon team and 20 other attendees for a very fun mountain bike and sport psychology clinic. A big thanks to Luna team member, Laura Drexler, who took me on a preview of the fun UCSD campus trails on Friday and helped coordinate and organize the clinic for Sunday. It was fun to hit this fun little network of trails, which had a bit of everything from swooping, looping trails, drops, ruts, bridges, logs, and twisty singletrack - the perfect place to practice some key mountain bike skills like body position, braking, cornering, descending, climbing, and going over obstacles.
After hitting the trails for a few hours to work on some specific skills, we all gathered together at the UCSD Outdoor Adventure Center for a Sport Psychology Clinic. I couldn’t have summed it all up better so please check out a fantastic detailed write-up of everything we did with a few pics by Laura, found at the following link:

It was great to get to know one of our Luna Ambassador teams and I look forward to seeing them again at the Luna Summit in April. I also look forward to doing more clinics like this one in the future!
