On the weekend of April 5-7, Team LUNA Chix hosted its 8th Annual Summit Conference in Berkeley, CA. This event kicks off the LUNA season and includes LUNA teams from all over the country and LUNA’s pro cycling team.

My early challenges in cycling taught me that I couldn’t have done it without the people around me who coached me, cheered for me, and helped me put one foot in front of the other when I thought I couldn’t go any further. Knowing this made me determined to become a better rider, because I wanted to BE one of those people: I wanted to be a mentor.
